Rio

born Demorris Lamar Hayes, Sept. 30,1986, in Decatur GA. Quickly moving to the northside of Atlanta after my mom and dad got married a year after my birth. I was raised in the northside of Atlanta in a city called Doraville but never left the east side because I was over my aunts house every summer where my ambitions to become famous started. Playing around with this rap thing every now and then, not thinking it would become as big to me as it is now! I was mainly focused on basketball and trying to go pro, but who doesn't have that as a goal as a yun'gin? After high school is when me and my brother decided to do something with this talent that we have on the microphone and with my brother on all the beats and his mind for the engineering I knew we would take off! Started off rough, I was good but I was no where near what I could be or what I am now! After a year into it I had progressed a lot to were my brother was just blown away but to be honest if it wasn't for his direction of making me get on any and every beat he made even if I wasn't feeling it really turned me into what I am with this lyrical skill! Now at the age of 21 I'm still chasing a deal but really trying to become independent, being part of our label Southern Swagger Ent. We always meeting new people that are seeming to put us in the right path and now with our manager Michael bka BMW paving the way for us I know there's no reason not to go farther than what we already have!

born Antonio Lewis, to Debra Y Walker-Lewis and Willie O. Lewis, in Kharlsruhe Germany Dec. 5 1986;. as an infant my family moved back to the states. While still an infant my parents divorced and my mom whom had custody of me moved back to her home state and town of Columbus, Mississippi with my grandmother. During my stay in Mississippi, I developed a love for music. I remember riding with my big brother Romiko one day hearing this song by UGK “One Day”. I loved the song so much that I begged my brother to take me out to a music store to buy my own copy of their album “Ridin' Dirty”. My mom end up moving to Atlanta to find herself a better job, and left me with my grandma, Bessie. She raised me a good part of life my life until I was 8. I moved to Doraville, Ga ( Atlanta ) to Courtland Club Apts at the time with my mom in 1995 and that's where I met Demorris (Rio). While attending Oakcliff I starting righting lyrics, but it wasn't until the summer between my seventh and and 8th grade year that I really started to rap. I recorded and made loops of Juveniles 400 degrees' album and made beats out of them. My eighth grade year of school I started freestyling with the other kids. By high school I was good at the craft so I would battle any and all competitor and win! While in the 11th grade I started to get to grown so my mother kicked me out for a couple months and I was homeless and not attending school. I almost dropped out but before I actually quit school I ended up moving to Pensacola, Fla with my farther and attended Escambia high the same high school Emmit Smith went to. Still freestyling, I made a rep for myself battling the students and still continuing to win! I also I got my very first job which was Checkers, but that didn't last too long and then I ended up getting back in good with my mom so I moved back to the A. I ended up dropping out of school and instead got my GED. By 2005, I enrolled into A.I.U. taking up Media Productions where I learned a lot about recording music. That's when I put together my firstproject 'Good Fellas'. When the project was done and started to getting popularity, the group decided to make a business move and get a Manager and that's when I linked with Michael bka BMW. The group ended up having different feelings about having a Manager, some were for it and others weren't, so we broke up. Everybody went their on seperate way accept for Rio and me. We stuck together and formed a new group called The Magnum Bois in which we started, just me and him, but grew to another group, which also did not last. But when it was all said and done it was still me and him and that's how you got A Couple Gs
